Old Town is excited to announce the headliner “LET IT BE, The Beatles Tribute” as the final musical act during the day long celebration of the 29th Anniversary of the Classic Car Show and Cruise this Saturday, April 6.
LET IT BE is the longest running Beatles tribute act in the southeastern United States and have toured throughout Canada and Europe. The group features an all-star cast of musicians that have worked with other well-known acts such as The Beach Boys, Herman’s Hermits, and Billy Joel. LET IT BE performances come from over 20 years of research to accurately recreate a live Beatles concert with professional costume changes, the correct instrumentation, and incorporating songs from different eras, including the “Ed Sullivan Appearance,” “Sgt. Pepper’s,” and “Abbey Road.” LET IT BE performs on Old Town’s Main Stage beginning at 7:00pm.
Old Town’s 29th Anniversary of the Saturday Nite Classic Car Show and Cruise is a day-long celebration with live bands on the Main Stage, roaming “streetmosphere” entertainment, and hundreds of classic cars. Recognized as America’s longest running weekly car show the Saturday Nite Classic Car Show and Cruise welcomes show-quality 1983 and older hot rods, street rods, and antiques. Cars begin lining up at 11:00am with the car cruise 8:30pm.
““We are excited to host LET IT BE as the headliner musical act for the 29th Anniversary of the Classic Car Show & Cruise.” says Thearon Scurlock, Old Town’s Vice President and General Manager. “Old Town continues to boast great, free family-friendly events, live music, and car shows.
