Budweiser Clydesdale Visit

The Budweiser Clydesdales were first introduced in 1933, after the repeal of Prohibition, and served as living symbols of not just Anheuser-Busch, but the American spirit.  They are famous worldwide for their appearances in parades, television broadcasts, the Super Bowl, and even Presidential inaugurations.  On New Year’s Day they’re set to make their most important appearance yet at Old Town.

The eight-horse team along with the famous red, white and gold beer wagon and the adorable Dalmatian will arrive at 9:00am for the “hitch up.”  The Clydesdales will stop at various spots around Old Town for guest interaction and photos beginning at 10:00am.

“Old Town is excited to once again host the Budweiser Clydesdales as we kick-off 2020.” says Thearon Scurlock, Old Town Vice President and General Manager.  “The Clydesdales represent the family friendly fun our guests have come to expect and there’s no better place to see them up close than here at Old Town

The Budweiser Clydesdales visit to Old Town is free for all ages.  Guests are encouraged to take pictures and post on social media using #myoldtownusa.

The Clydesdales visit kicks off a year of change at Old Town, including the unveiling of a 15,000 square foot expansion of retail and dining, new special events, entertainment, enhanced live music, and more.  For information about the 2020 year, visit Old Town’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter pages
