Fun Spot’s Adds A New Wooden Rollercoaster

Fun Spot America Theme Parks’ Kissimmee, adjacent to Old Town, is building a new wooden coaster called “Mine Blower.”  This unique wooden roller coaster located on the southeast side of the amusement park will take riders upside down, something designers say exists in only one other place in the country.

Construction crews broke ground in January for the roller coaster that towers 83-foot tall and boasts 2,290 feet of track.  The ride will take riders on 90 to 105 degree turns, a 360-barrel roll, and recently announced tunnels.  Mine Blower will feature two trains each holding up to 12 riders.
